eero is looking for a highly proficient hands-on WiFi validation Engineer, who is solution oriented and can do attitude, to own our testing efforts and keep our platform running smoothly. You will help the existing WiFi test team build test beds and test cases, validate SW integration and releases, DFS functionality and ensure that end users have a great connectivity experience. You'll work closely with development teams to help discover and debug issues.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop test plans for eero's whole home WiFi products
- Define, implement WiFi test cases and write automated tests
- Develop ad hoc tests to support engineering debug
- Execute WiFi test plans, report results and plan status
- Debug and analyze failures, summarize analysis results
- Design testbeds & test solutions based on the needs
- Support distributed development and QA teams
- Able to provide concise and clear test reports driving towards product quality improvements
- Purchase & maintain resource inventory of the WiFi test labs
- Understand the WiFi team needs and work with different vendors to obtain best competitive quotes
- Write detailed expense reports on inventory procurements using spreadsheets, asset management tools
- Assess testbed shortage and pre-order/prefill future requirements


A day in the life
The wifi testing team is a lean team working on multiple aspects of the wifi stack from integration, mac layer functionality, routing & networking to host layer application level validation to improve the user experience of our mesh solutions. You will be working in a fast paced environment and directly interacting with development and QA team members to enable them scale, maintain WiFi lab infrastructure to meet high quality SW deliverables.
