Job Overview

The Enterprise Data Office is looking for a full-time Vice President (VP) Lead Analyst to join its Wholesale Loans Data Management and Remediation team, under the collateral pillar. This provides a unique opportunity, to have an integrated “end-to-end” view, through data, of the credit underwriting, monitoring and reporting of wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.

The team is responsible for driving a data architecture to deliver front to back design, identify gaps, and implement a robust governance framework with a specific focus on loans collateral. A key focus is on Data Quality including ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness across data flows and alignment with Citi’s overall data strategy.

The function is responsible for extensive partnering across all relevant businesses within wholesale loans and Independent Risk to drive key initiatives and associated deliverables for the data strategy and manage change with the right governance framework. 

The Wholesale Loans Collateral Lead Analyst (Business Analytics Lead Analyst - C13) is a recognized technical subject matter expert for an area within the wholesale loans collateral data domain. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

Participate in, and lead data remediation efforts through a mix of tactical and strategic solution designSupport downstream consumption plans with back-office technology partners to ensure completeness and consistency throughout data flowsContribute to senior management level presentations to communicate strategy, programs and month over month progressAct as a change agent to implement best practices and ensure transparency and consistency across teams.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

6+ years of relevant work experience including data analytics, asset-based lending, commercial real estate, or collateral documentationExtensive hands-on experience in data analytics utilizing SQL tools/tableau or experience in secured lending products is requiredData and Results oriented with an excellent attention to detailThrives in ambiguous environmentExperience working closely with technology teamsExperience in interacting across multiple teamsStrong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently.Exceptional level of motivation and diligence coupled with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), as well as strong relationship building skillsStrong ability to influence, drive direction and resultsHighly analytical individual with the ability to work independently when needed and exemplary documentation skillsAbility to focus on high quality work while under pressure

Education:

Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferred

$100,800.00 - $151,200.00
