The PositionWorkforce Optimization (WFO) in IWS provides expertise at a global level with the ambition of elevating the way leaders shape Roche’s workforce. In close collaboration with other chapters in P&C/cross-functional experts, they develop frameworks/products to support the development & implementation of data-driven, skill-based workforce solutions. These frameworks/products enable WFO to partner with the business in defining integrated workforce strategies and to unlock the strategic potential of our total workforce (workforce including external partners). Shaping new practices and adopting novel technologies to navigate the evolving business landscape and to proactively shape Roche’s workforce to be future-ready.

The Opportunity
As a key member of the Workforce Optimization Area of Practice you, as the WFO Product Enablement Partner, are responsible for developing and designing enablement strategy and material. You will play a pivotal part in driving education and enablement for our frameworks and concepts across our key audiences and customers in People & Culture and the Roche/Genentech business to help the WFO scale its impact in the organization.
Setting the overall vision and strategy for successful & integrated Product Enablement amongst all WFO product(s) and for maximizing their value - in close collaboration with the WFO (Product) Partners and P&C/functional experts
Own the enablement & education framework from idea to development/design & continuous improvement
Partner closely with IWS & WFO Partners to ensure a good understanding of business requirements, needs (what is requested and why) & feedback, to translate them into customer journeys, and ultimately shape learning solutions
Actively engage with WFO Product Partners to drive prioritization and with P&C and cross-functional system to identify synergies, connections and ensure consistency with the broader IWS, P&C and cross-functional vision & strategy when designing, testing, collecting feedback & evolving products in your responsibility area towards excellence
Contribute to the continuous evolution of and development of WFO products, in the framework defined by the Product Partners support implementation of enabling frameworks (e.g. data, automation, technologies)
Collaborate on cross-functional projects/work product teams, as needed & resource buffer
Contribute to the management and tracking of global WFO budget and contribute to the overall AoP vision and strategy and drives AoP specific strategic initiatives
Who you are
Master's degree (FH) in the field of business administration, human resources or workforce management or similar (or qualified applicants with multiple years of relevant experience without Master’s degree) with work experience in matrixed, global and strategic settings within P&C and/or the business
Expertise in P&C, learning, project and change management and ideally, experience in workforce planning, people strategies, total/external workforce planning or transformation and leadership skills to lead cross-functional (matrixed) teams
Strong consulting skills (diagnosing, analytical skills, critical thinking), excellent problem solving skills, digital & data acumen and flexibility to adapt to different needs (e.g. short and longer term), navigating ambiguity in complex environments and changing strategic priorities.
Understanding of Workforce Optimization strategy & product portfolio as well as of the P&C and cross-functional ecosystem and proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and adept at leveraging AI tools, and virtual whiteboarding platforms. Video/animation creation experience a nice-to-have.
Strong communication skills, and fluency in English
