HIRING SALARY RANGE: $128,960-$150,000 per year (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data. The West Region Operations Lead will oversee multiple Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) sites, managing Facilities Operations and Maintenance, Laboratory Instrument Services (LIS), and Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM). This role requires a highly experienced leader with expertise in quality assurance, safety programs, compliance programs, and operations management within a GxP environment for pharmaceutical R&D. The Operations Lead will ensure compliance with Safety, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and regulatory requirements, including fire/life safety, preventative maintenance (PM), and permitting. The role involves developing and maintaining quality programs, overseeing high-hazard work, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and serving as the primary point of contact (POC) for client escalations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and a customer service mindset to foster strong client relationships and team collaboration. The Lead will also present findings to clients during Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews. **Key Responsibilities** + **Operational Oversight:** + Provide leadership and oversight for all West Region IFM sites, ensuring seamless operations across Facilities Operations and Maintenance, LIS, and ALM. + Serve as the primary POC for client escalations, leveraging high EQ and a customer service mindset to ensure timely resolution and alignment with client expectations. + Report directly to the Account Manager, providing regular updates on operational performance, compliance, and client satisfaction. + **Quality Management:** + Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure high-quality work across all facilities. + Lead and maintain quality programs, including Audit, 5S, L10, Gemba, and Kaizen, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to standards. + Oversee Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Incident Reports, approving findings and ensuring accuracy. + Track and manage Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs), ensuring deadlines are met per KPIs. + **Safety and Compliance:** + Ensure compliance with GxP regulations in pharmaceutical R&D environments. + Oversee high-hazard work, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Confined Space, Working at Heights, and Electrical safety protocols. + Manage compliance programs, including but not limited to fire/life safety, preventative maintenance (PM), and permitting, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. + Track and manage Safety and Compliance KPIs, ensuring all sites meet regulatory and client standards. + **Client Engagement:** + Present investigation findings, CAPAs, and operational updates during Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), utilizing high EQ to build trust and alignment with clients. + Collaborate with clients to align on quality, safety, compliance, and operational objectives, demonstrating a customer service mindset. + **Travel and Site Management:** + Travel regularly to various West Region sites to oversee operations, conduct audits, and support teams. + Ensure consistent application of operational, safety, and compliance standards across all facilities. **Qualifications Required:** + Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, operations management, quality assurance, safety, or pharmaceutical R&D (or equivalent industrial experience). + Proven expertise in developing and maintaining quality programs (e.g., Audit, 5S, L10, Gemba, Kaizen). + Strong background in facilities operations and maintenance, safety programs, and quality management systems in a GxP environment. + Experience with high-hazard work, including LOTO, Confined Space, Working at Heights, and Electrical safety. + Demonstrated ability to oversee RCA, Incident Reports, and CAPAs, ensuring compliance with KPIs. + Experience managing compliance programs, including fire/life safety, preventative maintenance, and permitting to meet local, state, and federal regulations. + High Emotional Intelligence (EQ) with a customer service mindset to effectively manage teams and client relationships. + Ability to travel frequently to multiple sites within the West Region. + Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing MBRs and QBRs. + Valid Driver's license **Preferred:** + Quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO). + Facilities Management certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP). + Reliability certifications (e.g., CMRP, CRE). + Safety certifications (e.g., CSP, OSHA). **Key Competencies** + Leadership and team management in a multi-site environment, with a focus on empathy and collaboration. + Expertise in GxP compliance, pharmaceutical R&D operations, and regulatory compliance programs. + Strong analytical skills for RCA and CAPA management. + Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating high EQ in client interactions and team leadership. + Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset with a customer service orientation. **Work Environment** + This role requires frequent travel to West Region sites. + Work may involve exposure to high-hazard environments, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols. + Collaboration with cross-functional teams and direct interaction with clients, requiring strong interpersonal and customer service skills. **Some physical/special requirements include:** + Regularly lift to 50 lbs + Regularly climb ladders, steps, and scaffolding + Repetitive motions: bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, wrist movement. + Walk extensively throughout the facility during shift + Work at an accelerated pace in emergency conditions + Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed. + Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment. **Why
