Role Overview:

Work with an experienced team of Software Engineers and DevOps experts on smaller tasks in the area of Skyhigh Security's threat and data protection solution (Service Security Edge).

About you:

Studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related subjects of which programming is an integral part. Studying at a university or university of applied sciences in Germany.  Can work regularly several times a week at our location in Paderborn.Have programming skills, preferably in C++ and Python. Solution-oriented.Enthusiastic about new technologies. Fluent in written and spoken English. Can explain well and communicate your ideas well using visual aids. 

Of benefit would be skills in one or more of the following areas:

Know the common Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, DNS, SSH, IPSec Know what web proxy services are.  Have knowledge of web applications technologies such as HTML 5, CCS Familiar with containerization, preferably Docker and know orchestration systems such as Ansible and Kubernetes. Have experience with at least one of the common cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) Have experience in Linux, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins and TeamCity
