Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, creative, and detail-oriented self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills for our Wellbeing Project Coordinator intern position. You will be working with our world class Wellbeing team supporting our global Wellbeing program. The ideal candidate for this position will be an energetic individual able to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support to the department and project teams, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, generating meeting minutes, preparing presentations, creating and maintaining action item lists.
2. Provide support to project teams including maintaining project files, creating and maintaining reports.
3. Manage simultaneous, small projects as assigned.
4. Provide support for large projects.
5. Provide support for general gym maintenance, including cleaning and facility organization.
6. Provide support for Wellbeing website and Wellbeing social media platforms, including content creation, maintenance and creative projects as assigned.
7. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and Wold Class Manufacturing Principles.
8. Understand. Create. Simplify.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Current student pursuing a Business or Health related degree at an accredited institution near the Pullman, WA area.
Ability to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to learn and communicate technical information.
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of corporate wellness programs.
Interest in health coaching and behavior change.
Interest in group fitness instruction.
Experience with motivational interviewing.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs
