Well-Being Strategist

Role Summary

The Well-being Strategist will work collaboratively with high-touch and/or complex U3000 accounts, prospects, and brokers to develop and evaluate holistic well-being strategies that support a healthy work culture that enhance the vitality of all.  The Well-being Strategist focuses on the development and market-level support of client well-being strategies, along with providing strategic insights and support.  

General Responsibilities

Translate market-level data and value trends into accountable strategies for U3000 account teams, matrix partners, and brokers to support client well-being strategiesReview market-level health and well-being product reporting to identify well-being opportunitiesUtilize segmentation data to inform population health insightsAssume role of trusted advisor on emerging well-being trends and health promotion vendor landscapeAdvise on best practices for a diverse and dispersed workforce that foster engagementPartner with internal matrix partners (CEC/EC, CM/NBM), brokers, and vendor partners regarding well-being strategy designConsult on complex client health and well-being strategiesLiaise across key stakeholders to drive cohesive well-being strategiesOffer recommendations on well-being incentive designsCollaborate with U3000 account teams and matrix partners to design, implement, measure, and/or modify innovative projectsIncorporate inclusive strategies across the marketplace to support client workforcesLeverage THI/data analytics to review market-level health and well-being strategy opportunitiesProvide finalist support and attend meetings with prospective clients, offering strategy and competitive intelligence insightsSupport broker roadshow meetings to highlight Cigna well-being capabilitiesDemonstrate mastery of Cigna well-being products, tools and resources

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in health promotion/well-being fieldIndustry certification such as CHES, NWI, WELCOA, etc. is preferredMaster’s degree in health education, health promotion, or related field, preferredExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven ability to develop well-being strategies and engagement solutionsHighly skilled in presenting data, critical thinking and influencing othersSelf-directed, with ability to successfully engage with internal and external matrix partnersMust be willing to travel as needed (less than 30%) to support key client/broker/market meetings


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
