Welding Workshop Coordinator
Join our dynamic team as a Welding Workshop Coordinator in Brussels, Belgium, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of gas transport installations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the safety and reliability of energy supply while collaborating with skilled professionals in the field.

Role Overview Prepare work for prefab files by receiving and organizing engineering plans. Create cutting lists, welding succession lists, and welding sheets for each prefab file. Estimate construction times and prepare for the transportation of materials to the site. Manage the prefab file and oversee the work of welders, dividing tasks effectively. Maintain administrative records related to welding follow-up, non-destructive testing, and inspection plans. Ensure quality control of constructions and monitor testing and assembly of prefabs. Order and organize painting work as required. Request and follow up on transports to subcontractors and construction sites. Adhere to agreed schedules to ensure timely project completion. Skills & Qualifications Mechanical Engineering: Strong background in mechanical engineering principles. Piping Knowledge: Familiarity with piping systems and installation processes. Operational Strategy: Ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies. Digital Proficiency: Competence in using software, cloud applications, and digital tools. Initiative: A proactive approach with strong organizational skills. Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective collaboration. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics or Engineering. VCA diploma 'Safety for Operational Managers' is required. Experience in civil engineering and/or piping is a plus. Pay & Benefits Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
