If you have a strong background in fabrication within the oil and gas sector, this is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic team. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Provide expert guidance and technical support to operations within the fabrication yard, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements. + Oversee your discipline activities, including procedures, equipment selection, consumable choices, and quality control measures. + Develop and implement programs and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. + Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with welding specifications and identify areas for improvement. + Train and mentor your personnel, ensuring their proficiency in welding techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards. + Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution. + Coordinate with client representatives and external stakeholders to address welding-related queries and provide technical guidance. **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered. + Extensive experience fabrication, specifically in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on offshore modules. + Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes + Proven track record of successful project execution with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and schedule adherence. + Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. + Ability to analyze complex welding issues, develop innovative solutions, and make informed decisions.
