What You'll Do as a Welding QA Technician:

You’ll play a vital role in the quality control process by performing physical weld tests, inspections, and audits to ensure welded components meet required standards.Physically tear down welded parts using chisels and hammersMeasure spot welds and inspect GMAW and Laser weldsRecord test results and initiate documentation for audits and scrapUse ultrasonic non-destructive testing methods (training provided)Work closely with production to identify and quarantine non-conforming materialsSupport continuous improvement and root cause analysisCollaborate with Quality and Plant ManagementMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Work Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:

2+ years of inspection or production experience (physical weld teardown preferred)Experience using calipers, micrometers, and measurement toolsAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbs and use air-powered chiselsStrong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skillsHigh school diploma or GED (technical degree preferred)Solid understanding of basic quality control and computer skillsMust be a team player with a self-starter attitude
