Manage and coordinate the implementation of process technologies ensuring correct documentation, training of impacted personnel and compliance with internal and external quality standards.

           

Responsibilities:

Safety.

Understand and follow procedures per Donaldson Global EHS FrameworkUnderstand, follow and promote plant safety rulesEnsure compliance with international safety standards in all work standards and process technology implemented at Donaldson

Quality.

Lead the complex problem-solving processes related to Welding TechnologyDesign and implement process control systems that ensure effective monitoring, problem detection, problem solving and continuous improvement in theWelding operationEnsure in collaboration with Production Supervisors proper training and skills certification of all personnel that operates at Welding operations

Deliveries.

Design, implement and improve processes to maximize productivity without negatively affecting human safety and product quality in Welding operationsElimination of the 9 wastes in the Welding operationEstablish the manufacturing conditions and process technology that optimize production cycles with world-class standards in the Welding operation

Cost.

Lead cost reduction projects in the Welding operation through the design and execution of experimentation plans focused on optimizing process response variablesConstantly look for alternatives in the supply chain that optimize the total cost of operation

Other responsibilities may be assigned as required

Minimum qualifications

Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy EngineeringAWS / CWI Level 2 CertificationExperience: 5-10 years in managing Welding operations, preferably with experience in developing procedures and welders qualificationEnglish – Advanced

Desirable Technical Skills:

International Certifications Applicable to WeldingExperience in Problem Solving with statistical methodsProven experience as a technical leader in Welding processes

Preferred qualifications

Instructor and Technical Trainer Skills for Team Leaders and OperatorsStructured and oriented to create and/or improve work systems such as Standards Procedures, Methods and/or work instructions
