We are seeking an experienced Welding Inspector for a major EPC/construction project in Brunsbüttel, Germany. You will be responsible for overseeing welding activities across fabrication, field operations, and quality inspection scopes, ensuring full compliance with industry codes and safety standards. Location: Brunsbüttel, Germany Contract Duration: 8–9 months Employment Type: Full-time Contract Industry: Oil & Gas | Fabrication | EPC | Construction Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Perform inspections in field and fabrication shop environments. Interface with engineering, procurement, and construction teams on quality matters. Review WPS, fit-up, and weld inspections during all stages of fabrication. Conduct NDT (radiographic, magnetic particle) inspections and interpret results. Verify welder qualifications and monitor equipment calibration. Ensure all welding activities follow project-specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Maintain and update QA/QC documentation and weld logs. Ensure compliance with ASME, ISO, and local standards and regulations. Qualifications & Certifications: CSWIP 3.2.1 – Senior Welding Inspector (Required) ASME Level 1 Plant Inspector PCN Level 2 – Radiographic Interpretation & Magnetic Particle Testing ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (IRCA/CQI) – Preferred SQA HNC – Fabrication, Welding & Inspection (Level 7) City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 & 3 – Welding and Fabrication Valid CSR Site Safety Pass or equivalent Key Skills: Advanced knowledge of TIG, MIG, butt, arc, and laser welding Understanding of corrosion inspection (API 571) Strong background in QA/QC systems and fabrication workflows Ability to read and interpret isometrics and technical drawings Fluent in English and German How to Apply:
