Job Description

Join a dynamic and fast-paced welding shop where your diverse welding skills are valued. We specialize in welding and fitting pressure vessels of all shapes and sizes, along with other types of structures. We welcome candidates with various welding experiences, including TIG, Flux Core, MIG, and Stick welding, and are flexible in integrating your expertise into our team.

ResponsibilitiesPerform all types of welding, including TIG, Flux Core, MIG, and Stick.Work on welding and fitting pressure vessels of varying shapes and sizes.Read and interpret blueprints accurately for project execution.Ensure safety standards are met by wearing required PPE such as shields, gloves, and safety shoes.Must HavesProficiency in TIG, MIG, Flux Core, and Stick welding.Experience in welding pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pipes, or cylindrical structures.Blueprint reading skills.Fitting experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with bigger, custom projects.No certifications required.Ability to work well in a fast-moving environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a fast-moving welding shop alongside highly experienced welders. Adhere to a dress code requiring welding attire and PPE, including shields, gloves/sleeves, and safety shoes. Work hours are from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 6:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scarborough, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
