We are currently seeking a **Welder / Fabricator** based **at our Windsor, CT location** . **_What Will You Do?_** + Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions + Perform TIG and MIG welding on a daily basis + Reviews blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications to determine appropriate materials, tools, and procedures needed to complete processes + Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers + Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum and stainless steel + Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding + Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures + Maintain a clean and safe work area + Brakes, rollers, saws, seam welder, plasma cutter and punch press. + Verifies conformance of work pieces to specification, using square, ruler and measuring tape. **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** + Wear proper PPE for the job + Standing long periods of time + Able to lift 30lbs min + 20/20 vision **_Your Experience Should Be..._** + High School Diploma, or GED + 5 plus years of welding experience. + Ability to lift up to 25lbs + Must possess mechanical aptitude + Must be able to pass Drug Screening + Current and valid certification a plus + Ability to work overtime if needed. + Use a variety of hand tools + Five years of experience preferable in a manufacturing setting. + Strongmechanicalaptitude is a must + Attention to detail **_Our Benefits Package..._** Chart's benefit package includes: Medical, Vision, 401K, Dental, Life Insurance.
