Expectations: WITHIN 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYEMENT, EMPLOYEE MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL MULTI-PASS FILLET WELD TEST WITH FLUX CORED ARC PROCESS. TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Actively participate in training program to develop welding skills and knowledge.Ensure all welds are clean, grinded and inspected; repair welds if necessary before moving product to next operationAll welds to be performed according to drawings and/or instructions.Ensure that all inspection record and other record requirement are filled out neatly and correctly and returned to supervisor at the end of work dayEnsure work is carried out in accordance with established company proceduresMake sure that welding machine calibration sticker is up dateMaintain a neat and clean workplace; comply with any FEM and LEAN manufacturing principlesImmediately report any unsafe equipment to supervisor, lock out equipment until repairs can be performedAdhere to company policies and safety proceduresUse flame cutting equipment if instructed EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENT: Good verbal and written communication skillsAble to safely operate hand and power toolsAble to read blueprints is preferred Schedule: Full Time:Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pmPay: $18 per hour Victaulic has what you’re looking for – career opportunity, professional development, excellent benefits, and a collaborative work environment.
