Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders of All Skill Levels for projects located in the Olean, NY area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Sub arc welding for steel components (bridges/buildings/industrial)
Work from blueprints and shop drawings
Maintain/clean equipment and report malfunctions
Follow structural engineering principles and welding procedures
Identify/refer hazards, comply with shop standards
Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
Fitting, assembling, and welding structural steel components (buildings, bridges, industrial facilities)
Ensuring proper alignment and making adjustments for structural integrity
Utilizing ARC and MIG welding to join steel components
Maintaining and cleaning fabrication tools, equipment, and machinery
Reporting equipment issues or hazards
