Position Summary

OPEX Corporation is looking for a full time Welder to work in our production shop at our 180,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Pennsauken, NJ. We are looking for an individual who is able to commit to a full time schedule during our first shift (5:45am – 2:00pm).  We are looking for dependable, organized, mechanically skilled individuals for this opening.

Essential Responsibilities

Read and understand blue printsCreate procedures based off of the blue printsLays out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and rulerOther responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a welderStrongly prefer candidates with 5+ years of experience as a welderMust have experience with sheet metal, aluminum, frame fabricationMust be able to read blue prints and create procedures based off of printsMig & Tig and torch work is strongly desired

Physical/Work Environments

Worker will be working in a production shop settingStanding for an extended period of timeMust be able to lift up to 35lbs  

Hourly Rate:

$22-24/hr, depending on experience
