Start your new career as a Welder with MAU at AFL in Duncan, SC. As a Welder, you will perform MIG welding on aluminum components during weekend third-shift operations at AFL’s Hidden Lake Facility. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
What We Offer: Pay of $20.67/hour Shift differential Weekend shift bonus: work 36 hours, get paid for 40 12-hour shifts: Friday–Sunday | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM Career development and training opportunities What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or GED - preferred Minimum of 2 years of MIG welding experience - required Welder certification is a plus Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet production standards What You’ll Do as a Welder: Perform MIG welding primarily on aluminum parts and tubing Set up welding equipment and operate turntables, brackets, knobs, and other fixtures Verify materials before welding by referencing discrete job instructions Access and follow drawings from computer systems for welding specifications Ensure each weld meets quality and output standards Deliver completed products to the next operation stage Maintain accurate production records and follow safety procedures
