**Job Title: Welder**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Welder, where you will utilize your skills in Flux Core Welding on Mild Steel to construct barges. You will employ various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG, and interpret blueprints while collaborating with a team under the guidance of a supervisor.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform Flux Core Welding on mild steel for barge construction.
+ Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques effectively.
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
+ Collaborate efficiently as part of a team under a supervisor's direction.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in Flux Core, MIG, and TIG welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience in welding various materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and structural steel.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous welding experience of 3 to 6 months.
+ Experience with tack fitting and stick welding.

**Work Environment**
Work in an outdoor environment that can be very hot. Adhere to a dress code that includes long sleeves, pants, and steel-toe ankle-high leather boots. Note that contact lenses are not permitted due to smoke from welding. Shift options include 1st shift (Monday to Friday, 6 am - 3:30 pm) and 2nd shift (Monday to Friday, 3:15 pm - 12:45 am).
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland City, Tennessee.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $21.30/hr.
