You will read and interpret technical drawings to fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts, ensuring they meet specified tolerances and operational requirements **CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Accurately interprets engineered drawings, including weld symbols and dimensions; follows red-line processes and suggests modifications or improvements when appropriate. + Troubleshoots and repairs issues related to consumables, such as spring liners and tip nozzle insulators. + Performs essential welding tasks and operates basic hand and power tools, including chipping hammers and grinders. + Accurately records work hours in the ERP system (currently SAP). + Supports and drives continuous improvement initiatives; participates in daily housekeeping and 5S audits to maintain a clean and efficient work environment. + Diagnoses and resolves machine and equipment issues, including faulty consumables. + Collaborates effectively with supervisors, managers, and team members to ensure timely production of high-quality products. **Responsibilities:** + Operates JetLine Welder + Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality + FCAW and GMAW Welding from basic blueprints + Performs basic operations using hand and power tools including but not limited to chipping hammers and grinders + Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP) + Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities. + Troubleshoot machine and equipment issues such as faulty consumables + Work collaboratively with supervisors, managers and peers to produce a quality product in a timely manner **Requirements:** + High school diploma or equivalent + 0-2 years FCAW and GMAW Welding + Basic blueprint reading + Operation of various hand and power tools **WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:** Our Total Rewards Program goes far beyond base compensation by providing a more fulfilling work experience and offering a competitive benefits program, including: + Generous PTO package and paid holidays + Generous retirement savings plan + Customizable health, dental and vision insurance (eligible on first date) + Career progression plans + Reward and recognition programs + Paid parental leave + Tuition Reimbursement + Company Wellness Program + Employee Discount Program The estimated pay range for this position is $22/hr. to $25/hr.. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
