Job Details:

1st Shift: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (occasional Saturdays)

Pay: $22/hr.

Type: Long-Term to Direct Hire (with serious potential for career growth)

Location: Freeburg, IL 62243

 

What You’ll Do:

MIG & TIG weld aluminum, steel, and stainless steel

Interpret blueprints and inspect your own welds

Prep materials: grinding, drilling, cutting, etc.

Change welding wire and make adjustments to equipment as needed.

Perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Maintain safety, quality, and cleanliness standards

Support the supervisor and complete additional duties as assigned.

 

What You’ll Need:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior experience with TIG and MIG welding (aluminum, steel, stainless steel)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders

Experience with hand tools, visual inspection, and basic documentation

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Strong visual acuity (corrected if needed) to inspect welds and operate machinery

Ability to operate grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting equipment

Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs.

Must be able to pass a respiratory test (per OSHA requirements)

Must bring steel toe shoes and safety glasses for the interview

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
