Welder, 2nd Shift **Location:** Canton, GA, United States, 30107 **Company:** Chart Industries **_What Will You Do?_** + Perform pipe welding activities, including hand welding and material handling equipment + Determines type and gauge of steel to be welded making appropriate adjustments, as required, on large thickness variations + Use blueprints and design sketches + Ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels, correct components installed on the finished product + Update/maintain required documentation + Maintain a clean work area, care for assigned tools, and proper disposal of hazardous waste + Understand and practice established safety and quality standard procedures + Perform tasks to ISO standards and requirements + May be required to perform mass spec and visual inspections + Other duties and responsibilities assigned by management + **Shift hours are 3:45pm to 2:15am, Monday through Thursday** **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock.
