BAE Systems
**Job Description**
+ Perform regular equipment setups, program loads, and SMT troubleshooting and make adjustments to meet production requirements.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot machine errors, placement defects, and hardware/software issues.
+ Monitor machine performance and proactively identify issues to minimize downtime.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on all SMT lines, Trolley's and relavent equipment needed to keep SMT production running.
+ Collaborate with engineering, quality, leadership and production teams to ensure optimal process performance.
+ Maintain documentation and records of machine settings, maintenance, and repair activities.
+ Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
+ Training of new operators and building operators skills and knowlwdge on SMT and related operations.
+ strong communication amongst team to keep optimal production time, detailed information collection for incoming shifts / process owners.
**WEEKEND SHIFT: Thursdays - Sundays 10hrs shift**
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with SMT experience
+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience with running an SMT line are highly desirable.
+ Ability to interpret technical documents, machine manuals, and schematics.
+ Proficiency with computer-based machine controls and basic data entry.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Technical certificate or associate degree in electronics,
+ Ability to stand for extended periods.
+ Lift up to 40 pounds.
+ Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion tasks.
+ Handle multiple lines operating at a time to keep production going and on schedule
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $42436 - $67898
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
