Weekend Registered Nurse - Adult Acute Care (10S)
Join UPMC Presbyterian's Medicine Team! + Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 for experienced nurses with more than one year of experience + Weekend Differential: Receive 25% differential on top of base pay + Experienced RNs: Full-Time, Weekend Program (24 hours per weekend, can choose between two 12-hour shifts or three 8-hour shifts between the hours of Friday at 3pm and Monday at 7am) + Must have 1 year of nursing experience About the Unit: 10 South at UPMC Montefiore is a 30-bed acuity-adaptable medical unit caring for stepdown and telemetry patients. We see a general medical patient population as well as overflow patients from orthopedics, ENT, hepatology, urology, and abdominal transplant. This is a team-driven unit, and we see a diverse population of patients at various levels of acuity, making 10 South a great fit for graduate nurses and nurses seeking to gain inpatient experience and/or expand their clinical knowledge. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) + CPR required based on AHA standards that include both didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. + Registered Nurse (RN) + Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. + Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state. + UPMC approved national certification preferred + Act 34
