Weekend Registered Nurse – Hematology/Oncology (2 Pavilion/South)

Experienced RNs: Full-time weekend program positions available for nurses with 4+ years of experience Shifts: Eligible participants must work 48 weekends per year, 24 hours per weekend (either two 12-hour shifts or three 8-hour shifts per weekend) between the hours of Friday 3PM and Monday 7AM.  About UPMC Shadyside: A 4x Magnet-designated teaching hospital and center of ongoing, cutting-edge research and education. 

About 2 Pav/South:

Shadyside 2 Pavilion and 2 South are fast-paced hematology/oncology units that are advancing cancer care. Nurses in these units specialize in centralizing the care of medically managed patients who have received chemotherapy treatments. Ongoing education is valued, supported, and encouraged on 2 Pavilion and 2 South making it a great unit for both graduate and experienced nurses seeking to expand their clinical knowledge.

High-Acuity Patients: Patients on this unit require staff members that are highly motivated, encouraging, and driven to provide patients with the best possible experiences and outcomes. Career Advancement: UPMC Shadyside Hospital is connected physically to Hillman Cancer Center which is the main center of all cancer care within the UPMC system.  Fast-Paced Teamwork: Our Registered Nurses work rotation shifts including weekends and holidays to ensure 24/7 coverage on the floor.
