Weekend Production SupervisorLocation: Plymouth
Salary: £34,000- £40,000 + 12% Bonus + Benefits + 44% Shift Premium
Shift Pattern: Friday to Monday, rotating day/night shifts (29 hours/week)
As a Manufacturing Shift Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of 45–50 Associates to consistently deliver exceptional performance in safety, quality, and productivity. You’ll coach, support, and inspire your team, while playing a vital role in continuous improvement and operational success at our Plymouth site.
What are we looking for?Experience in managing or supervising teams, ideally in an operational or production setting.A confident communicator who can work with people across all levels and backgrounds.A problem-solver who takes initiative and is comfortable making decisions in the moment.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with continuous improvement or OPEX practices.What will be your key responsibilities?Lead your team through daily operations to deliver on safety, quality, and food safety KPIs.Manage work allocation, shift planning, attendance, and performance in a fair and supportive way.Build a strong team culture through coaching, feedback, and personal development planning.Drive operational improvements and support projects focused on efficiency and team capability.What can you expect from Mars?Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.
