Job Summary
The Supervisor, Telemetry provides clinical and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care within the telemetry unit. This role supports nursing staff by coordinating daily operations, managing throughput, and reinforcing evidence-based practice standards. The Supervisor promotes accountability, clinical excellence, and an exceptional patient experience while ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in a telemetry or acute care setting required 1-2 years of leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong clinical knowledge of telemetry and acute care practices. Ability to lead and support staff in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in use of electronic health records and clinical documentation systems. Understanding of quality improvement methodologies and patient safety principles. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement performance improvement strategies.Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required BCLS - Basic Life Support required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
