What would you do as our Weekend CCTV Controller
As a Weekend CCTV Controller based in Solihull, you will be an integral part of our CCTV control team, reporting directly to the control room assistant manager. Your role will involve close collaboration with the installation team, as well as maintaining effective communication with customers to ensure smooth operations. This is a weekend position in Solihull (Saturday and Sunday 10am – 8pm).
You would also:
Monitor and operate control room systems, including CCTV, while ensuring the room's security and assisting emergency services when needed. Handle alarms, calls, and incidents professionally, assessing risks and escalating as necessary. Record and report incidents accurately using internal systems; report equipment faults to the appropriate department. Provide high-quality service delivery in compliance with legal requirements, including liaising with visitors and possibly giving statements to the police or attending court. Answer inbound calls promptly, maintaining a professional and supportive approach throughout.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
SIA CCTV Operators Licence (mandatory) CCTV & Security experience Good communication skills
