The Wedding Assistant plays a key support role within Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding Event Services team, assisting Event Services Managers in the seamless coordination and execution of a variety of events. These may include wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsals, photography sessions, dessert parties, and engagements.
Please note that this is a seasonal casual temporary role.
What You Will DoOn any given day, as a Wedding Assistant, you might:
Assist Event Services Managers in the on-site execution of weddings, dessert parties, and engagementsSupport occasional office tasks as neededProvide back-up reception coverage at Franck’s Bridal Studio on an as-needed basisConfirm vendor arrivals (e.g., photographers, limousines)Verify food and beverage setup and ensure deliveries are completeSupport real-time problem-solving during events to maintain Disney’s high standards of excellenceRequired Qualifications & SkillsHere’s what you need to be successful at this job:

Knowledge of Siebel, Outlook, Disney Sales and Catering System (DSCS) and the DREAMS reservation systemKnowledge of weddings, resorts and /or hospitality industryDemonstrated strong partnering skills and team work initiativeType 50 WPM and proven performance with grammar skillsRequired Education
High school diplomaPreferred EducationBachelor's degree in Event Management or related field
