This position is intended for a currently enrolled student in the Graduate Program of Sound Recording at the Schulich School of Music.

Hiring Unit:
Communications & Production

Position Summary:

Maintain a database of webcast schedule including the name of the concert, date, time, length, location, and staff;Ensure adequate staffing based on webcast schedule provided by the Department of Communications and Production;Database will serve for statistical purposes as well as supporting documentation for payroll;Attend production meetings when requested regarding webcasts;Delivery of assets from local server to the client.Other related administrative duties.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Must have full working knowledge of Schulich School of Music concert halls/event spaces and associated audio and video equipment. Must have successfully completed MUPD-204 and/or MUPD205 or have equivalent knowledge base. Requires working knowledge of Macintosh computers and navigational knowledge of MLAPS file systems (Unix navigation & commands), plus working familiarity with networks. Demonstrate ability to work independently and in teams, be client-focused, pro-active and professional.   Must be able to work under strict timelines.  Ability to communicate effectively in English written and spoken.
