JOB SUMMARY
As a Web Strategy Specialist at Baylor Scott and White Health, you will be responsible for building, editing, and optimizing webpages with consumer-centric content across BSWH websites. The ideal candidate will know how to connect user journeys, consumer research (including website analytics and SEO), and knowledge of the brand directly to business growth objectives.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to audit and assess web content as well as strategize methods of optimization. This role requires critical thinking and a keen eye for detail in terms of content, page performance, and user experience. The Web Strategy Specialist must be able to communicate their ideas and insights and be able to back decisions and recommendations with data.
SALARY: The pay range for this position is $35.95/hour ($74,776/year) for those with entry-level qualifications up to $62.80 ($130,524) for those highly experienced. The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE INCLUDE (but are not limited to)
Serves as point of contact for assigned service lines and is accountable for driving performance improvement and conversion rate optimization along with business partners. Works closely with service line leaders to ensure content for designated section is reviewed regularly for accuracy, SEO performance and alignment with web strategy.Monitors service line page performance through analytics platforms, SEO, heatmapping/session recording, and related metrics; works closely with partners in these areas to ensure highest possible page functioningUses critical eye to continually seek opportunities for improvement in page performance and user experience · Proposes and executes A/B testing opportunities, enhancements and updates to enhance traffic and conversionExecutes webpage layout strategy for assigned service lines and other areas of the site that is consistent with overall web goals and strategy as established by web leadershipCreates and edits webpages using customizable components and basic HTML within Sitecore content management systemOperates within the principles of Agile, consistently delivering assigned tasks within sprints.Supports efforts to ensure a clean, consistent approach to presentation of existing and new content, especially site navigation, functionality and internal linking process.Provides day-to-day content support for BSWH websitesFlags issues with copy/content to the Content Team or other appropriate organizational partnersWork with internal business groups to create and maintain a consistent brand image and voice.KEY SUCCESS FACTORSStrong analytical and measurement skillsCritical thinking and evaluation skillsDeadline and results drivenExperience in standard SEO practicesExperience using, analyzing, and acting on web analyticsExperience building and optimizing web pages using digital and content management systemsForward thinking, resourceful and adaptable with a positive attitude and strong work ethicDemonstrates a high-level of creativity with an eye for layout and designStrong communication and proofing skillsProficiency in HTML and CSSProficiency in standard spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)BENEFITS
