The Role\: Web Editor
The Web Editor is responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing digital content for our organization’s website. This role plays a key part in enhancing user experience, maintaining brand consistency, and driving online engagement. The Web Editor collaborates with various teams to ensure that web content is up-to-date, relevant, and meets quality standards.
· Content Management System (CMS)
· Web Analytics (Google Analytics or similar)
· SEO
· Ticketing system tools (Jira, Remedy)
What will you do?
The Web Content Editor will be part of Digital Customer Relations (DCR) Content and Analytics team.
· Create, edit, and publish web content including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.
· Ensure that web content aligns with the organization’s brand guidelines and voice.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and update content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
· Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and organic traffic.
· Manage content updates and ensure they are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
· Use content management systems (CMS) to upload, format, and organize web content.
· Monitor and report on website analytics and user engagement to make data-driven decisions.
· Stay up to date with web content best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
· Troubleshoot and resolve website content issues.
· Assist in the development of content strategies.
· Work in CrownPeak to identify, prioritize, and implement web quality improvements (spelling, broken links, accessibility, and SEO) to improve the overall experience on our platforms, and improve the usability of the channels.
