Vistex is looking for an experienced Web Developer to join our marketing team. This individual will work with the Web Marketing Manager and our Back-End Web Developer to develop, test and deploy Vistex web pages. The candidate should have a strong understanding of content management systems, project and repository management skills, and be comfortable working with the languages Next.JS and React.JS.

Responsibilities:

Partner with the web marketing team to produce eye-catching, fast loading and compelling web pages and sites Review code to ensure its efficient and free of bugs Leverage strong communication skills to inform stakeholders of project progress and status Troubleshoot website issues and fix bugs as they arise Define and document technical requirements Implement and report metrics from split A/B tests Test web functionality, suggest and implement improvements Remain current with emerging web development technologies Ensure Vistex websites and hosting environment are secure and protected against attacks Ability to manage tasks that are assigned to you to completion Maintain website backups and ensure CMS and plugins are up to date Contribute to other marketing projects as needed Optimize websites for responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and cross-platform performance Be comfortable with integrating marketing websites with databases and APIs

The compensation for this position is $65k to $75k annually.  Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills and work experience.
