Job Responsibilities:
Duties include the following:
Lead presentation and communication of critical trends, key insights, and recommendations based on Google Analytics (GA4) data analysis, using integrated tools such as LookerStudio, Looker, and Tableau as appropriate while facilitating communication with senior managers and higher executives across the organization;Support monitoring and analysis of internal web analytics tags and third party analytics tags deployed on our eCommerce websites using Google Analytics alerting capabilities, ObservePoint application, BigQuery integrations, and other best practices. Address GDPR compliance, security susceptibilities, and overall data quality with data science and developer teams;Leverage data to deep dive on trends, develop data-driven solutions to complex business problems, and complete ad hoc analyses to identify further improvement opportunities;Provide reporting and analysis to monitor and optimize the corporate website and act as web analytics subject matter expert for the company;Lead project analysis and deliverables using BigQuery data sets for deep-dive analysis of key trends and data anomalies for optimization of the web analytics design;Support product team activities, including translating business reporting requirements into technical specifications and testing web analytics implementation activities;Support the communication of regular updates for executives and stakeholder groups in public forums;Provide guidance to other stakeholders on web analytics; andCollaborate with UX/UI designers to implement data-driven changes that enhance usability and engagement.
Telecommuting is an option up to four (4) days per week, but the candidate must live within commuting distance of Burlington, Massachusetts. There is required presence on average in the range of 1-3 days per week, depending on business needs.
Job Requirements:
Employer requires candidate to have at least a Master's degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, or a closely related field, and two (2) years of work experience as a data analyst or similar occupation using enterprise web analytics applications for gathering and extracting website data.
Candidate must also have the following:
Demonstrated ability using Google Analytics (GA4) and integrated data visualization and reporting tools such as LookerStudio, Looker, and Tableau gained through two (2) years of work experience;Demonstrated ability using ObservePoint and BigQuery to analyze key trends and data anomalies gained through two (2) years of work experience;Demonstrated ability working with software developers and other internal stakeholders to address GDPR compliance and data security susceptibility issues gained through two (2) years of work experience;Demonstrated ability using data analytics and enterprise monitoring systems to assess the performance of web analytics tags deployed in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Tealium and provide recommendations on how to optimize marketing decisions gained through two (2) years of work experience; andDemonstrated ability working cross-functionally with other business teams to improve end-to end processes impacting data quality and analysis gained through two (2) years of work experience.
All years of work experience may be gained concurrently.
Alternatively, employer requires a candidate to have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, or a closely related field, and at least five (5) years of progressively more responsible work experience as a data analyst or similar occupation using enterprise web analytics applications for gathering and extracting website data.
Candidate must also have the following:
