HSBC International Wealth Management leads the Asia-Pacific implementation of our global strategy to deliver world-class solutions to retail and private clients seeking to grow, protect, preserve or transfer their wealth. This involves the development and management of needs-based solutions covering foreign exchange, deposit, investment, insurance and financing products, as well as the provision of suitable market insights and updates, financial planning and advisory services.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Wealth Senior Sales Team Head, Offshore Banking.

Principal Responsibilities

· Lead, develop and manage a team of Relationship managers managing our High Net Worth premier clients to ensure achievement of the business objectives

· The incumbent has a vital role to play in effectively leading and implementing change as an integral part of delivering business strategies

· Create and maintain an environment the team maximizes performances in achieving overall WPB objectives

· Ensure the business run effectively and efficiently in accordance to the WPB operating model

· Provide quality coaching using GROW model, mentorship and motivation of staff to optimize financial contribution to Premier Elite clients, enabling the team to achieve full potential in sales and service excellence

· Perform continuous team’s portfolio analysis to identify potential client leads and opportunities

· Detailed, meticulous and precise in identifying opportunities and gaps and ability to craft out quick business strategies to achieve business goals

· Working closely with other members of the Wealth Management team, such as investment, insurance, treasury specialists to provide holistic solutions to our onshore banking premier clients

· Ability to constantly inspect what we expect on team’s deliverables on regular basis

· Demonstrate strong ability to lead the team to self-source, develop new business by actively prospecting for new clients and referrals, and leveraging your existing network to generate New to Bank leads

· Fulfilling clients necessitates while providing an exceptional client experience is the expected behavior from all our employees and it will be measured by specific metrics

· Lead the team to drive referrals across various business lines within WPB, particularly to GPB

· Ensure the team adhere to all KYC/AML and other compliance norms are strictly adhere to

· Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding the bank, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules regulations adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
