- Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience in the fiduciary financial industry.
- Experience servicing high net worth individuals and willing to network within the community.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Office 365, e-Money and/or Orion (or comparable platforms).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills focused around illustrating financial concepts, strategies, and topics.
- Ability to excel in a demanding environment and a self-starter.
- Demonstrated excellence in organizational and time management skills.
Description:
Insight Global is assisting a client with identifying a Wealth Management Strategist II for a direct hire role in the Kansas City, MO area with a growing boutique wealth management firm. The company brings customized planning and flexible, proven solution offerings together in a tailored strategy designed to maintain and grow their clients’ wealth while meeting their financial objectives. This individual will report to the Advisory Department providing financial planning and investment management support to the firm’s Lead and Senior Advisors. The Wealth Management Strategist (WMS) will collaborate with clients and client accounts, working closely with advisors to coordinate the delegation of non-advisory tasks to the Client Services Team. Under the supervision of higher-level advisors, the WMS will engage with clients and their outside advisors in insurance, tax, and estate planning. Responsibilities include preparing for upcoming client meetings, developing agendas, attending meetings, documentation, building relationships, and ensuring a seamless client experience through diligent follow-up and coordination. Additionally, the role involves reviewing tax return statuses, particularly in Q4 in preparation for Q1, and supporting clients by presenting options for lenders.
• 70% - 80%-time allocation to client meeting support functions (preparation, research, agendas, documentation, post-meeting, follow-up, contact with business professionals/COI’s, etc.).
• 20% - 30%-time allotment to tasks and internal meetings.
• Actively Prepare Client Meeting Agendas and provide other meeting support in preparation for client and prospect meetings.
• Coordinate, track and follow through on communications with Buttonwood clients ensuring a historical log of all communication via the appropriate technology.
• Construct financial plans with the BFG financial planning tool and obtain Lead Advisor review and approval.
• Active participation in Investment Policy Committee meetings.
• Coordinate non-advisory tasks with Client Service/Operations Team for a seamless client experience.
• Provide client support for Buttonwood Financial Group technology platforms.
• Manage recurring client projects.
