Water / Wastewater Treatment Engineer

We are looking for a driven and curious Water / Wastewater Treatment Engineer in Tempe, AZ. As part of our team, you’ll work with other engineers focused on drinking water and/or wastewater treatment technologies. You’ll leverage your experience in process design, pilot treatment systems, treatment technologies, and water quality evaluations to deliver a variety of projects. Join us and continue the development of your skills and advancement of your career path as you explore all that you can do across our global company and share your knowledge along the way. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical preferred) • Professional Engineer license (P.E.) in Arizona or able to obtain one within 12 months. • A minimum of 5 years of progressive process engineering and project delivery experience in drinking water and/or wastewater treatment, including process planning, evaluations, piloting, modeling, and design. • Familiarity with State and Federal government regulatory frameworks related to drinking water, reuse, and/or wastewater treatment Ideally, you’ll also have: • Master’s or other graduate degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical preferred) • A strong network with local municipalities or other water/wastewater clients Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
