Water/Wastewater Regional Power Distribution Sales Specialist
This position will be remote in the West Region of the continental US.
Role Description
Focus on regional End-user, EOR, Electrical Contractor, and Distribution accounts, in the Water/Wastewater vertical, specifically targeting growth geographic markets in CA, NV, WA, OR, AZ, and HI. Drives accelerated margin growth in the electrical infrastructure portfolio in the market. Create and execute a geographic growth plan including key account targets, channel, and partner leverage in the assigned geography. Coordinate with Business Unit expert resources for pre-sales technical and design and value engineering assistance, pricing and proposal generation, submittal drawings, final design approvals, order entry, execution and delivery. Develop power system account penetration strategies for customer accounts, new customer acquisition. Coordinate with appropriate Electrical Infrastructure Sales resources for key contractor account coverage in support of end opportunities – whether Owner supplied, contractor installed power system solutions and equipment or contractor supplied, contractor installed power system solutions. Educate end user customers on the full Smart Infrastructure portfolio to penetrate the market and enhance value engineering with collaboration and Accelerator. Participate in industry conferences, drive thought leadership, speaking engagements in local events. Build strong connections with the rest of the Industrial and Electrical Sales teams and key stakeholders within SI Business Units, SI US S&OP, SI US EP/EA.You will win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent educational background 5+ years of experience and/or training in account/business planning 5+ years' experience in Power and Electrical systems within Industrial markets. 5+ years of experience in Sales Management or 10+ years for a Sr. Sales Specialist 5+ years of sales experience working across end user, channel, and contractor Go to Market channels (electrical contractors, distributors, design build, design bid build) or 10+ years for a Sr. Sales Specialist Ability to travel 50%. Individuals must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan and possess a valid driver's license in good standing. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in the Water/Wastewater experience. 5+ years Demonstrated experience with change management and influential selling. 5+ years Strong customer focus: ability to develop customer specific value propositions.Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees. The pay range for this position is $107,590,00 - $221,280 and is eligible for sales incentives. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
