Day shift is typically from 7AM-3:30pm Monday-Friday. May be required to participate in on call rotation. Weekends off. Payrate range based off experience between $19-25 per hour.
Responsibilities:
-Using magnetic, radar, electrical, GPS, and surveying equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety.
-Pressure testing, hydrant flow tests, and final inspections for new installations.
-Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on lift stations, generators, auxiliary pumps, and related infrastructure.
-Repair leaks and maintain water, reclaim, and force mains, including valve exercising and hydrant maintenance
-Interpret blueprints and research utility history to ensure proper planning and execution of projects.
-Ensure compliance with standards by referencing the Groveland Manual and collaborating with contractors and vendors.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-High school graduate or equivalent. A mechanical/technical/vocational school background or experience is a plus
-Florida Class 3 Distribution License or ability to obtain within 1 year.
-NASSCO (National Association of Sewer Service Companies) certification, or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months.
-Must be able to lift or move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
-Knowledge of the repair and maintenance of wastewater collection systems.
-Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment
