Job Description
We are seeking a Civil Engineer experienced in municipal water design or treatment. This role involves leading a team of three Engineers in Training (EITs) on various municipal water-related projects. You will design projects for cities, ensuring the provision of potable water, the disposal of wastewater and sewage, and the prevention of flood-related damage. Additionally, you will prepare environmental documentation for water resources, ensure regulatory program compliance, manage data and analysis, and conduct fieldwork. Collaborating with city and state officials on different projects is also a key part of this position.
ResponsibilitiesLead a team of three EITs in municipal water-related projects.Design projects for cities involving potable water provision, wastewater and sewage disposal, and flood damage prevention.Prepare environmental documentation for water resources and ensure regulatory compliance.Manage data analysis and conduct fieldwork.Collaborate with city and state officials on various projects.Essential Skills4+ years of Civil Engineering experience with a focus on water treatment.Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification.Proficiency in hydraulic modeling and pipeline design.Experience designing domestic or industrial water or wastewater treatment plants.Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with advanced facilities such as sequencing batch reactors (SBR), membranes, lift stations, headworks, surge overflow basins, ultraviolet disinfection systems, aerobic digesters, sludge lagoons, or control buildings.Experience with civil engineering software for water modeling.Work Environment
The preferred work environment is in-office five days a week, from 8 am to 5 pm, with hourly compensation and 1.5x pay for overtime. The role involves working in one of these three cities: Nephi, Vernal, or Richfield, leading teams of between 5-12 engineers. Additionally, one position is available for a team lead in Springville, requiring extensive leadership experience. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/hr.
