Job Description:
We are seeking a mid-level Water/Wastewater Engineer to support the planning, design, and construction of wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in civil or environmental engineering and a passion for water and wastewater systems.
Key Responsibilities:Develop engineering designs, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for wastewater projects.Ensure adherence to project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.Perform data entry and analysis, and support projects through the construction phase.Supervise or coordinate work of junior engineers, drafters, and technicians.Design outside-the-fence infrastructure such as pipelines, pump stations, and reclaimed water systems.Conduct hydraulic modeling and field inspections.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.6–12 years of experience in water/wastewater projects.Experience in planning, design, and construction of wastewater treatment facilities.Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in California or ability to obtain within 6 months.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to deliver high-quality work within budget and schedule constraints.
Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.Familiarity with local utility codes and permitting processes.Experience with site design, construction oversight, and contract negotiation.Knowledge of hydraulic modeling software and treatment plant design.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
