Downer has a long-term contract with the Tasman District Council for 3 Waters Operations and Maintenance. We are currently looking for a hands-on Foreperson to join our high-performing team in Tasman. In this role, you will work alongside the Water Operations Manager to oversee the planning and management of the water reactive maintenance team, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard in accordance with contract specifications and to meet our clients' expectations.
In addition, you will be reliable and hardworking and will bring with you:
A proven ability to lead teams with at least 3 years of experience in various maintenance and construction activities, including civil construction, drainage, labouring, plumbing, and agriculture work, preferably with a focus on water, wastewater, and stormwater.Relevant water, wastewater, engineering, mechanical or electrical qualifications at National Certificate Level 4 or above
Strong Health and Safety FocusA full class one Driver’s license and ability to drive a manualClass 2 and R, T, W is desirableStrong knowledge of IT systems.Ko wai mātou | Our Organisation
