Job Title: Water Resources Project ManagerJob Description We are seeking a dynamic Water Resources Project Manager to lead our hybrid project management and business development role. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil, water resources, or environmental engineering and possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license. The position involves working on a variety of projects including low impact designs, residential subdivisions, commercial sites, roadway drainage, master planning, urban stormwater retrofits, stormwater treatment, hydraulic analyses, and flood hazard mitigation. Responsibilities + Identify and develop project and client opportunities to expand the firm's water resources sector through networking events. + Create and manage contracts, budgets, and billings. + Assist in water resources permitting efforts. + Conduct QA/QC reviews on deliverables such as reports, calculations, and engineering plans. + Present at conferences and engage in business development activities. Essential Skills + Proven experience in stormwater management design, contracts, client management, project management, and hydrology. + Strong understanding of design standards for jurisdictions and agencies in the Portland metro area. + Proficiency in software such as XPSWMM/XPSTORM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-1, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project. + Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and modeling. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Certified Floodplain Manager certification is a bonus. + Experience in Low Impact Development (LID), water quality, and stormwater treatment best management practices. + 2D modeling experience. Work Environment This position is located in Beaverton with a schedule of two days in the office from 8 am to 5 pm, including a one-hour lunch break. A laptop and cell phone stipend are provided. The office features a gym and an outdoor working area, fostering a strong company culture with various outings such as game nights, karaoke, ski nights, and trips to the Coast.
