While the system does not require daily oversight, your responsibilities will include ensuring safe, compliant discharge, chemical handling, and coordinating hazardous waste disposal. This role is ideal for someone reliable, safety-conscious, and open to cross-training in other facility or maintenance functions when the system is inactive. Full-time employment may be available for candidates with additional experience in plating or industrial maintenance.   Responsibilities: Operate and monitor wastewater treatment system to meet environmental regulationsAdjust chemical dosing and treatment based on in-house testingPerform routine maintenance on pumps, tanks, valves, and filtersCollect and document samples for regulatory complianceMaintain accurate logs of pH, flow rates, chemical use, and system activity Qualifications and Requirements: High school diploma or GED requiredAt least 1 year of experience in wastewater treatment (industrial preferred)Basic knowledge of pH neutralization, filtration, and chemical dosingComfortable working with industrial chemicals and automated systemsUnderstanding of environmental compliance standards a plus  Benefits and Perks: $25-30/hrMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance401k w/ company matchOpportunities for training, advancement, and long-term career growth Your New Organization:This Milwaukee-based metal finishing facility has delivered high-quality plating services since 1970, specializing in hard chrome, electroless nickel, and sulfamate coatings.
