Onin Staffing is hiring for a premier union manufacturer specializing in precision metal stampings, washers, spacers, and shims. With over 100 years of experience in the industry, they are committed to producing high-quality products and investing in their employees!

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable individual to join our team as a Washer Set-Up and Run Operator. Ideal candidates will have experience in machine operation, particularly in a metal stamping environment. This role is responsible for setting up and operating various press machines.

This position will train on 1st shift 7am-3:30pm for 3-4months, then will move to 2nd shift 3:30pm-12am.

Set up and operate punch presses and related support equipment.Perform various operations such as blanking, bending, punching, and forming according to blueprints and instructions.Read and interpret blueprints, routing sheets, and work instructions to determine job specifications.Measure completed work and apply shop math to ensure conformance to quality standards.Maintain production efficiencies of 80% or higher after training.Other duties as assigned including cleaning.

Work Experience
Ability to read and interpret BlueprintsPrior experience in the metal stamping industry.At least one (1) year of manufacturing experience.Strong understanding of tolerancesAbility to read, comprehend, and follow policies, processes, and procedures.Proficient in English, both written and verbal.Basic computer skills required.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Willingness to purchase required inspection tools and hand tools after accepting the job offer
