The Warranty and Repair Center Tech will intake and process warranty returns and perform a variety of repairs on customer returned products for all Outdoor Performance soft goods brands and ensure timely and accurate processing of customer returns, in an effort to meet or exceed all performance targets and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
This position reports to the Warranty and Repair Center Supervisor and is based out of our Bozeman, MT office.
As the Warranty and Repair Technician I, you will have an opportunity to:
Receive warranty returns into the Repair Center, record production information into the CRM system, and provide professional communication to the customer through the CRM system.
Use tablets to record all product information, defects observed, and repairs performed throughout the process to accurately capture data for every warranty and repair case.
Visually evaluate products and input observed issues into the CRM system upon receipt to identify all repairs or replacement necessary, and upon completion of all repairs and replacements to ensure all completed resolutions are captured in the CRM system, all appropriate repair charges are processed, and the final resolution is communicated to the customer .
Use heat presses, seam tape machines, sewing machines, and other repair equipment to perform all necessary repairs to waders, apparel, footwear, packs, bags, and accessories according to established procedures to ensure products are returned to serviceable and functional condition meeting company quality standards.
Perform inspection and testing processes to ensure waterproofness of products which are required to be waterproof before returning to the customer.
Package completed warranty and repair resolutions to be shipped back to customers.

Physical Requirement:
Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to move, manipulate, and lift materials.
Position requires exposure to potentially hazardous substances and solvents (ie isopropyl alcohol and adhesives).
Must have visual acuity to perform visual inspection of products and repairs.
Pay Range:
Hourly Rate: $18.50 - $22.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
