The Warehouse and Yard Associate will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers, customers and internal within departments/shops) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs.

We are looking for two successful candidates, one to be mainly warehouse based and the other to operate the forklift frequently. One of the roles will not require a forklift license.
 

As a Warehouse and Yard Associate, you will be responsible for:

Loading or unloading truck freight in Red-zone area.

Packing export of all sizes both air freight and by boat and truck.

Ensuring that packaging, labelling, storage and delivery and dispatch of goods is maintained in accordance with statutory regulations, NOG 091 and NOG 116.

Carrying out tasks in connection with shipments in DHL, WELS, WRAP, WIPS and SAP.

Creating dangerous goods documents for all these shipments.

Receiving inbound material from outside suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants and field locations.

Providing forklift service between all halls and product lines.

Packing and unpacking of goods or equipment.

Picking materials, components & products and delivers them to Product-lines and warehouse.

Ensuring that all SAP Transactions are performed for material movements.

Performing daily forklift control.

Ensuring the work area is maintained in a safe and proper condition through correct handling and storage of equipment and tools.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:  

Demonstrate similar experience within a Material Handling or Warehouse role.

Be able to lift and/move up to 50 lbs.

Have a forklift license (T1, T2, T3 & T4).

Hold a Logistics certificate of apprenticeship.

Have excellent communication skills in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing).

Have excellent computer skills, especially SAP but Excel & Outlook would be an advantage.

Have the ability to work in a team and use own initiative.
