Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator Job Description

Responsibilities:

* Pick customer orders accurately from a pick slip, ensuring the correct quantities of product are selected.
* Operate a sit-down forklift to efficiently retrieve and transport orders to the packing area.
* Sort and organize products on pallets, ensuring they are properly arranged and secured.
* Break down full packs of product as needed to fulfill exact order quantities.
* Wrap, tag, and label pallets for shipment, verifying all information is accurate.
* Rework pallets as needed with a high level of attention to detail and care.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure order demands are met in a timely manner.
* Communicate effectively via email and maintain accurate warehouse documentation.

Qualifications:

* 3-4 years of previous warehouse experience is required.
* 1 or more years of experience operating a forklift, preferably a sit-down model.
* Ability to lift heavy materials regularly and safely.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
* Previous experience with inventory management systems and warehouse technology is a plus.
* Prior experience in inventory management is important.
