Warehouse Worker 

Warehouse Worker (July 2025 - January 2026) 

The LCBO is an Ontario government enterprise and one of the world's largest buyers and retailers of beverage alcohol. 

Under the direction of the department supervisor, you will perform a variety of responsibilities which include, but are not limited to safe case handling, manual offloading of shipping containers, manual case order picking and manual case palletizing functions. 

We are hiring Warehouse Workers to join the outstanding team in our Durham Retail Service Centre facility located at 2000 Boundary Road, Whitby, Ontario. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to showing up and completing assigned tasks. Above all else, we love Warehouse Workers who don't mind lifting heavy things.

About the Role: 

Manually unload cases of product from containers and trailers with the assistance of powered belt conveyors and step stools Physically able to load and unload cases of beer, wine, spirits, and cider that weigh between 40lbs (18 kg if you prefer the metric system) and 60lbs (27 kg). Working at heights up to eight (8) stories and working in isolation Required to stand for lengthy periods of time with movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, and walking Select, assemble, and prepare pallet orders for customers Clean up accidental spills; we all pitch in to be safe Fill out safety-related checklists, dock sheets and other required forms, checking purchase orders and inputting small data points into a computer or peripheral devices. 

About You: 

We encourage students and people who can work a second job to apply You are required to complete a criminal record check that is paid for by the LCBO Ability to follow procedures and work independently with minimal supervision Fluent in English, as well be proficient in reading writing and basic arithmetic You will be provided with PPE (Eye protection, gloves, hearing protection, dust mask) 

LCBO has shifts for everyone! 

Day, afternoon, evening, and occasional weekend shifts allow you to find the right schedule for you Afternoon and evening shifts provide opportunities for you to work another job, be with family and/or have time for school studies 

Shifts: 

Day shift (8:00am – 4:00pm) Afternoon shift (4:00pm – 12:00am) Midnight shift (12:00am – 8:00am)
