ResponsibilitiesPurpose
Responsible for safely loading, unloading and moving materials in the plant.
Operates hand truck or various truck from our fleet of trucks (fork, reach, picker) to move or convey shipmentsAssembles finished good orders and loads shipments based on established standard operating proceduresPrepares skids: straps, stretch wraps, weighsReceives incoming shipments based on established standard operating proceduresPrints and pulls warehouse transfers and ordersReceives, inspects and stores merchandise or materialsExecutes all aspects of shipping orders and receiving product from outside vendorsRestocks corrugated and production’s needsWorks with Production and Customer Service departmentsAssembles loads for other facilities as neededAssists in training of new employeesSupports & complies with safety guidelines Qualifications
Strong communication skills, both written and verbalGood English writing & speaking skillsBasic math skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to manage multiple tasks effectivelyBasic computer systems knowledge
